Terms of use

Last updated: 2 August 2026

1. What this site is

One More Spoon provides recipes and general nutrition information for preconception, pregnancy and the postpartum period. It is an informational service, not a medical one, and it is operated by Simov Studio LTD, a company registered in Cyprus ("we", "us"). By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Not medical advice, no clinician-patient relationship

Nothing on this site is medical, dietetic or diagnostic advice. No professional review named anywhere on this site changes that, and nothing here creates a clinician-patient or dietitian-client relationship. Nutritional needs vary from person to person, and pregnancy can involve medical conditions that change what is safe to eat. Always follow the advice of your own doctor, midwife or registered dietitian; if anything here conflicts with their advice, their advice wins.

No reliance: you agree not to rely on this site as a substitute for professional medical or dietetic advice, and not to delay or disregard such advice because of something you read here. Decisions you make about food, health or pregnancy based on this site are your own.

3. Your responsibility in the kitchen

Our recipes follow standard food-safety guidance, but safe outcomes depend on what happens in your kitchen. You are responsible for correct shopping, storage, hygiene, cooking and reheating, for checking that ingredients suit you - including allergies, intolerances and any condition or dietary restriction that applies to you or the people you cook for - and for verifying doneness (cook meat, fish and eggs fully during pregnancy, and use a thermometer where in doubt). Ingredient labels change; check them. You accept responsibility for the outcomes of preparing and eating food from these recipes.

4. Accounts

You can create a free account with your email or a Google login. Keep your credentials safe: you are responsible for activity under your account, and you must provide accurate information. One account is for one person; credential sharing is not allowed.

5. Free content, bonus recipes and membership

  • Free tier: part of the collection is free for everyone, with or without an account.
  • Bonus recipes: a small set of bonus recipes unlocks when you opt in to our marketing email in your account settings. Turning that email off re-locks the bonus set and changes nothing else; see the Privacy Policy.
  • Membership unlocks the full collection. It is sold either as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as the Whole Journey Pass, a one-time purchase. Prices, taxes and renewal terms are shown at checkout before you pay. Membership is not yet on sale; checkout is not available.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Manage billing on the membership page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep access until then.
  • Permanent access (Whole Journey Pass): the Pass is a one-time purchase that grants access to the members-only collection for as long as One More Spoon operates, tied to your account. It is not a subscription and never renews, and it is not a promise that the service will exist forever: if we ever permanently discontinue One More Spoon, we will give Pass holders at least 90 days' notice and keep the service available to them through that notice period.
  • Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; see the Refund Policy for how buying, withdrawal rights and refunds work.

6. Fair use and termination

You may not scrape, bulk-download or republish the collection, share credentials, resell access, use the content to train or build a competing recipe dataset or service, or attempt to access members-only content without the required membership. If an account is used in these ways or otherwise abusively, we may suspend or close it; where the breach is not serious we will warn you first and give you a chance to stop. If we close your account for a serious breach, fees already paid for the current period are not refunded except where the law requires otherwise. You can stop using the service or ask us to delete your account at any time.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this service - recipes, text, images, design and the collection itself - belongs to or is licensed to Simov Studio LTD and is protected by applicable intellectual property and database rights. You may cook from, print and share individual recipes for personal, non-commercial use. Republishing recipes, images or substantial parts of the collection requires our prior written permission.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the service available and improving, but it is provided "as is" and "as available": content is edited, added and occasionally removed, and short interruptions can happen. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Simov Studio LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for damages arising from use of or reliance on this site, its recipes or its general information, and our total liability for claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. This section does not limit what cannot be limited: nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in these terms affects the mandatory consumer rights of the country you live in.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above always reflects the latest revision. If a change is material - it meaningfully affects your rights, your purchases or how the service works - we will notify account holders (by email or a notice in the product) before it takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance; if you do not agree, stop using the service and, if you have a subscription, cancel it.

11. Who we are, governing law and contact

One More Spoon is operated by Simov Studio LTD, registered in Cyprus. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer in the EU or elsewhere, you always keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
